At FlyingPeas our return policy is simple. If you aren’t happy, we aren’t happy, and will work with you until you are.
All the products at FlyingPeas are selected for their high quality and hip factor! We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee or money-back policy if your item is returned within 21 days from original shipping date. It can be returned for a complete refund to the credit card it was purchased on, less the shipping costs – or can certainly be exchanged. We will also gladly issue a store credit for returns made up to 30 days. Shipping charges will apply to exchanges (unless, of course, we are at fault). Please note that returned items purchased with a free shipping offer or promotion will have the standard cost of shipping subtracted from the refund. Also, if large/heavy items are returned (such as Oeuf furniture, etc.), the actual cost of shipment will be deducted from the credit/return, rather than the $10 flat rate.
Merchandise must be unused and in the original packaging with all tags in place. Please include a copy of the invoice sent to you at the time of purchase with a brief note including your name, address, email address, reason for return and a request for either a refund or exchange. Any items returned in less than perfect condition will be sent back at the customer's expense.
We cannot accept returns on custom-ordered or personalized merchandise, nor items that were purchased on sale. Also note that a couple manufacturers do not accept returns, so we can therefore not accept them. This is only applicable on a couple products, and will be noted on the product page for non-returnable merchandise. Again, 99% of our non-personalized products are returnable - and if not, it will be noted on the product page.

shipping
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING IS HERE! If you live outside U.S. and just love our goodies, now you can easily get them to your doorstep using Bongo International shipping. Simply sign up to get a U.S. shipping address (cost is $5 to set this up and you can use it for FlyingPeas shipments as long as you want) and they will handle shipping to you wherever you are. To get started, look for this bongo logo at the top of your shopping cart.
shipping costs: Unlike some other online retailers, we aren't trying to make a profit on shipping. In fact, we're actually losing money on some of our shipping costs, but we're ok with that as long as our customers are happy and keep coming back. We offer flat $10 shipping on all standard shipments within the continental US, and for shipments outside those perimeters (2nd Day Air, Overnight, etc.), we simply charge you what UPS or USPS charges us. If you are in Hawaii or Alaska, you will only be charged what UPS or USPS charges us (whichever is less expensive), but that's usually a minimum of $20. Most items are also available to ship to Canada for a flat rate of $30. Please note that you will be responsible for any customs charges or any additional fees your country charges for crossing the border. If you order items that are not available with the flat rate, we'll notify you shortly after your order. Also note that some items that may be drop shipped (furniture or personalized items) may be shipped via another carrier (FedEx, etc.). If you live in an area that does not deliver via USPS, please note that in the comments on your order, and we'll work to send another way.
shipment timing: We try to ship everything out the business day after the order is placed; however, we sometimes experience order overload or inventory issues that get in the way of this. Each product page has an "availability" section that indicates the average order time for shipment. This can be found directly above the "add to bag" button. There are a couple cases where the inventory is not stored in our warehouse and therefore has different schedules for shipment which is also indicated under "availability" - these items include any personalized item, large furniture or custom art work. In those cases, please refer to the product page for an idea of shipment schedule.
Once your item has shipped, you will receive an automated email with the tracking number information on it. UPS Ground shipment can take anywhere from 1-5 business days (do not count weekends or holidays), and USPS usually ships 2-5 days. Same deal with overnight and 2-day air... So, if you order a product on a Tuesday that says "usually ships next business day," it will ship on Wednesday and if sent 2-day air, will arrive by Friday. But if the order was placed on a Wednesday in the same scenario, the product would be delivered on Monday. We hope this helps avoid any confusion about shipping times... and remember, these are UPS and USPS rules, not ours! (smile)
payment options/receipts
We accept Discover, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal.
Many FlyingPeas purchases are gifts; therefore, we will not include the receipt with your order. Rather, a receipt is emailed to you immediately upon placing your order. If you’d like to receive a paper receipt with your package, please let us know by emailing customercare@FlyingPeas.com
gift card/wrapping
We are happy to include a complimentary personalized FlyingPeas gift card with sucker if your purchase is a gift. Gift wrap is also available for a fee of $5.00. To see a picture of gift wrapping, check out some photos here. Please note that gift wrapping is not available for larger or odd-shaped items, or for some items shipped outside of our warehouse. Unfortunately, not all of these items indicate that gift wrapping is not available. If we are unable to accommodate your gift wrap request due to size, we will simply remove the charge and still include the gift card with sucker. Also, note that the gift wrap may vary for some personalized items due to being sent directly from the designer.
privacy
We value you as a customer at FlyingPeas and will not share or sell any of your personal information (such as email address, phone number, credit card number) to any third party. One exception: If you purchase a personalized item, we may have to share your address with that trusted partner in order to ship to you. If you prefer this NOT to happen, please note it in your comments and we can have the item(s) shipped directly to us, and then we can ship to you (extra shipping charges apply).
All personal information collected during the shopping experience is used to fulfill your order, advise you on the status of your order and/or improve your shopping experience. When you subscribe to our mailing list, you will only receive emails from FlyingPeas regarding new products, promotions or sales. We do not share our mailing list with anyone. You may unsubscribe anytime by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email newsletter.

We do not store your credit card information on our servers. The personal information you submit to us is stored only at our secure servers located at Yahoo! and all credit card numbers are deleted after 30 days. No unauthorized party will be able to access this information.
Additionally, we use the 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect your online order information. SSL is the widely accepted protocol that protects data sent between your computer and our web site. It prevents unauthorized parties from accessing your personal information such as a phone number, address or credit card number.
We do not accept orders by email because information transmitted via email may not be secure; however, you may also send us an email and request that we call you.

Absolutely. FlyingPeas uses the industries highest level of encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of your credit card information.
